Who We Are
Saor is built on real-world experience and a deep respect for craft. Led by Niamh Nί Chrόinίn, our work is informed by decades in construction, law, and teaching.
Niamh grew up in the west of Ireland, surrounded by teachers, builders, and historians. Her passion for construction began at Dysert O’Dea Castle, where she spent much of her youth.
Educator & Expert
Niamh is a part-time instructor in SAIT’s Construction Technology program and a guest speaker for Osgoode’s Certificate in Construction Law. She also delivers practical, in-house training for construction teams through Access Construction Claims Training (details below) and has provided expert testimony in arbitration proceedings.
Global Experience
She’s worked across Ireland, Ghana, and the UK—most notably on London’s 2012 Olympic Park and Crossrail (also in London) —before moving to Canada to focus on construction law and claims. Niamh is an active board member for the North American Society of Construction Law.
Life Beyond Work
Outside of Saor, Niamh loves staying active and finds a work life balance through sports with a focus on both mental and physical well-being. She spends much of her free time working with her two loyal tracking dogs, Sionnach and Setanta.
